Heads up! VT PoC is thrilled to announce an upcoming Bike Ride on Saturday, September 20th, from 11:30 AM to 3:00 PM. The ride will begin and end at Local Motion, conveniently located on the Burlington bike path. This event is open to the BIPOC community and their loved ones (Non-BIPOC).
The event will feature a bike lead provided in collaboration with Color The Valley. Bring your bike or take advantage of our bike rental discount from Local Motion. We strive to ensure a safe and inclusive environment for everyone. Our scenic bike route will start at Local Motion, take us to the Causeway, and then back. The total distance is just over 20 miles.
Please be aware that due to recent budget adjustments and lower attendance at certain events, VT PoC will be implementing a charge for select events moving forward. This change will take effect with the upcoming Bike Ride event. To ensure accessibility, we will offer a sliding scale payment option for this event, starting at $1.00 with a suggested donation of $10 to cover the event's cost. VT PoC remains committed to offering and hosting exceptional events.
