Our mission is to offer inclusive outdoor experiences that make people feel safe recreating outside by building healthy and intentional relationships with the places we visit and the people who join in on our experiences
Our Trips
This route will start and end in Rutland, VT at the Amtrak station. We intentionally build our routes to be accessible via the train so whether you are coming from NYC or Burlington, Rutland is a great stop! It is super easy to roll your bike right on the train with no need to disassemble.
From Rutland, we head out on the stunning rolling hills of southern VT. This is truly the Vermont experience that everyone at home will want to hear about! We will visit quaint towns, swim in Lake St Catherine (and spot loons there if we’re lucky!), and filter water from clean mountain streams. Camping for this trip will be at the Trailhouse, a mountain bike retreat center outside of Poultney. Our hosts are also adventure cyclists and have spent years building trails and routes in the area. Feel free to explore!
All of our routes are built as loops to give you different views, different creemee stops (Vermont’s very own version of a soft serve ice cream) and new opportunities for spotting wildlife!
You can expect 2 days, 1 night with 50 miles and ~3000 feet of climbing total. This means easy 25-mile days with lots of time for snacks and swimming!
Get ready for a classic bikepacking overnight with STUNNING views of the Adirondack and Green Mountains.
Starting from our waterfront office in beautiful Burlington, VT. We will roll out, fully packed up and ready for adventure. Mike and Sequoia will show you some sneaky gravel right in town and we will slowly make our way toward the Island Line Bike Ferry— a super sweet small boat that carries pedestrians and bikes to the Champlain Islands. Thew views on this route can’t be beat, and there are many opportunities for a dip in the lake.
Saturday evening, we camp on the shore of Lake Champlain. At our campsite, we will be cooking dinner together, basking in the glory of a delicious meal that was well-earned. South Hero is home to a winery and brewery so we also can stop in for tastings if that appeals to you.
We will round out the day with a peaceful paddle on Lake Champlain and then head home the next day. All of our routes are built as loops to give you different views, different creemee stops (Vermont’s very own version of a soft serve ice cream) and new opportunities for spotting wildlife!
You can expect 2 days, 1 night with 53 miles and ~1900 feet of climbing total. This means easy 26-mile days with few hills and lots of time for snacks and swimming!
Starting from our waterfront office in beautiful Burlington, VT this route brings us from Lake Champlain into the Green Mountains, following the famous Cross Vermont bikepacking route. We will ride through lush farm fields, bike paths you likely didn’t know were there, and experience the pure joy that Vermont gravel provides.
Richmond is a sweet town, surrounded by ski hills in the winter and mountain biking in the summer. We are camping on private property right on the bank of the Huntington River, complete with a perfect swimming hole of clean mountain water. Dinner will be wood-fired pizza and you will have the opportunity to top pizzas yourself, so great creative and enjoy the process!
There are some hills on this route but they aren’t absurdly hard, and we design all our routes to be beginner-friendly! We wait at the top of the hills and help carry heavy gear if you need. All of our routes are built as loops to give you different views, different creemee stops (Vermont’s very own version of a soft serve ice cream) and new opportunities for spotting wildlife! Enjoy a slow pace and maybe some stops at farm stands on the way back to town!
