Starting from our waterfront office in beautiful Burlington, VT.

We will roll out, fully packed up and ready for adventure. Mike and Sequoia will show you some sneaky gravel right in town and we will slowly make our way toward the Island Line Bike Ferry— a super sweet small boat that carries pedestrians and bikes to the Champlain Islands. Thew views on this route can’t be beat, and there are many opportunities for a dip in the lake.

Saturday evening, we camp on the shore of Lake Champlain. At our campsite, we will be cooking dinner together, basking in the glory of a delicious meal that was well-earned. South Hero is home to a winery and brewery so we also can stop in for tastings if that appeals to you.

We will round out the day with a peaceful paddle on Lake Champlain and then head home the next day. All of our routes are built as loops to give you different views, different creemee stops (Vermont’s very own version of a soft serve ice cream) and new opportunities for spotting wildlife!
